Outotec to deliver concentrator technology to Mexico

Outotec Oyj (Espoo, Finland; www.outotec.com) has signed a contract with various Industrias Peñoles’ mines ("Grupo Peñoles") for the delivery of grinding mills and filters for three new concentrators to be built in Mexico in the next years. The contract value is approximately EUR 30 million, and the order has been booked in Outotec’s first quarter 2013 order intake.
Outotec’s scope of delivery consists of six large grinding mills and seven pressure filters. In addition, Outotec provides installation, commissioning and start-up services as well as spare parts for the technology package.
Filter deliveries are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2013 and grinding mills in the first half of 2014. Grupo Peñoles is a long-term customer of Outotec with installed base of five grinding mills and 40 Outotec Larox pressure filter units in their sulphide concentrate applications.
