Plastipak Packaging, Inc. (Plymouth, Mich.) announced the opening of its PET Material Center in Verbania, Italy. The center manufactures pakPET™ Single Pellet Solution, a PET resin with 30% recycled content designed to help customers maintain packaging quality, consistency and manufacturing efficiency.
Italian government officials and Ed Morgan, Plastipak CEO, attended the October 14 opening ceremony. Plastipak invested more than €25 million in the PET Material Center, reinforcing its commitment to material innovation and circular economy solutions.
