These applications include catalyst regeneration in fluidized catalytic cracking (FCC) units, and ethylene oxide and purified terephthalic acid production. The TS 8 enclosure cabinet is now available in 316 stainless-steel construction for use in harsh environments, providing resistance to corrosion, high temperatures, common chlorides (such as sScreenshot 2015-12-22 09.03.39alt present in seawater), as well as chemicals, including sulfuric acid, bromides, iodides and fatty acids. The addition of the 316 stainless-steel iteration of the TS 8 extends the cabinet’s applications to oil-and-gas, water-supply and wastewater-management installations.
