Sani-Tech® STHT®-LT is a new silicone tubing specifically engineered for the rigorous demands of cold temperature applications.STHT-LT was designed to overcome the physical limitations of traditional tubing, which often becomes brittle and susceptible to damage in low temperatures. Instead, this new formulation remains flexible and crush-resistant, ensuring integrity throughout cold storage, cold chain logistics, and freeze/thaw applications. This reduces the risk of failure in single-use tubing for these critical applications. Sani-Tech STHT-LT offers key advantages over traditional fluid transfer tubing, including a brittleness by impact temperature of –114°C and a glass transition temperature of –90°C, STHT®-LT withstands extreme cold without compromising its structural integrity. STHT-LT is validated to maintain its integrity through multiple freeze/thaw cycles, ensuring drug substances remain safe during complex conditions.
