Rotary jet heads drastically slash cleaning times and costs

This company has added three rotary jet heads — GJ A2, GJ A6 and GJ PF FT (photo) — to its product line of tank-cleaning solutions. This gives users the ability to install rotary-jet head technology in small-size tank openings, such as 3 or 4 in., where static spray ball and rotary spray heads are normally mounted. By retrofitting with one of the three small GJ jet heads, users can avoid reworking the tank to accommodate upgrading tank cleaning equipment, meaning low installation cost. Rotary jet heads clean tanks 70% faster than the static spray ball technology, says the company. Because of faster cleaning, rotary-jet heads use less water and chemicals, reportedly reducing operating costs by up to 80%. — Alfa Laval AB, Lund, Sweden
