This company’s G Series internal gear pumps are now available with a behind-the-rotor seal option, which is designed to deliver improved protection and performance when handling abrasive materials across a wide range of applications, including starches, inks, pulp, resins and adhesives.  Engineered for serviceability and longevity, the behind-the-rotor seal option is designed to prevent process fluids and abrasive materials from contacting drive components of the G Series. This results in reduced wear, simplified maintenance and increased uptime for operators. The configuration is available in Type 1 or Type 8 seal configurations for greater flexibility and supports the use of a lower-cost bronze bushing when pumping abrasive materials. Initially available on G3-2 through G3-69 cast iron models, additional materials are planned for future releases. — Blackmer, a brand of PSG, Grand Rapids, Mich.
