The new Neles ValvGuard VG9000F for Foundation Fieldbus (photo) is said to be the first TÜV-approved SIL3 Foundation Fieldbus (FF) safety valve controller to appear on the market. It combines the benefits of FF communication with the technology of the Neles ESD valve range to provide a new level of integrity and safety. Status changes are delivered automatically through FF communication, and realtime alarm management is incorporated. There is no need for external wiring or I/O cards.
