Orca transducers offer improvements in power, penetration, and calibration-density range due to a new design featuring three to seven sonar crystals. These crystals are mounted on a single head with each array producing a concentrated sonar beam. The transducers offer a realtime output (representing the behavior of a density interface), which can be used as a control input.
