This liner system protects employees and products

Traditional equipment used to fight contamination, such as dust masks and extractors, are no longer sufficient to protect employees or products, due to the expanding field of disease control involving highly active ingredients and substances. These higher concentrations of dust and powder become increasingly toxic, requiring cutting-edge containment technology. This company offers concept-to-finish containment systems, including flexible packaging and transfer solutions. The company’s continuous liner system (CLS; photo) is used to ensure the safety of personnel and products by forming the interface between the production outlet and the continuous liner package. The liners are made of user-specific foil material, and are available in various sizes and folding heights. The liners are manufactured in the company’s class ISO 5, ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanrooms, and welded according to established industry processes on qualified systems. Axial folding enables film lengths of up to 265 ft (80 m). Fold height and foil length are dependent upon film thickness. Special CLS liner sizes for customized foils can also be produced.
