Sanitary pneumatic receivers for pharmaceutical applications

The P-Series pneumatic receivers (photo) are suitable for applications with a higher degree of sanitary requirements, such as vacuum conveying of difficult flowing powders and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). These receivers are designed to provide solutions for difficult conveying applications for the pharmaceutical industry and engineered to be easy to lean and disassemble with wash-in-place (WIP) and containment options available. The sanitary receivers can be used for gain-in-weight or loss-in-weight feeder refill applications, simple up and in systems, such as indirect or direct blender loading or conveying blends to tablet presses or capsule fillers. They typically convey materials including free flowing to poorly flowing powders, flakes and granular materials requiring gentle conveying. They are available in three models: the P10 (10-L capacity) can convey up to 600 kg/h; the P30 (30-L capacity) can convey up to 1,800 kg/h; and the P100 (100-L capacity) can convey up to 4,000 kg/h.
