This company has launched a new smart manufacturing platform powered by artificial intelligence (AI), said to be the first to be built specifically for operational technology (OT) users designed for legacy processes and facilities. This new platform enables engineers to translate their experience and knowledge into AI applications without extensive data science experience. The Quartic Platform comprises two key components: Illuminator, an IIoT data pipeline that dynamically creates asset context for data and makes its machine learning and analytics ready for users; and eXponence, an intelligence engine that combines automated machine learning, complex event processing (CEP) and a sophisticated rules engine to create asset intelligence. — Quartic.ai, San Jose, Calif.
