Touted as the first chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) pipe commercially available in large diameters, this firm’s line of rigid, extruded industrial-CPVC pipe now includes 18-, 20-, and 24-in. dia. sizes at ANSI Schedule 40 and 80 dimensions. Like the rest of the line, these new additions feature outstanding corrosion resistance and superior high-temperature strength up to and including temperatures of 200°F. With a pressure rating between 130 and 1,130 psi that varies with schedule and diameter, the pipes are useful for a wide variety of applications, including chemical processing and commercial hot- and cold-water distribution systems.
