Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference

Held at McCormick Place (Chicago, Ill.) October 18 – 22, the Water Environment Federation’s (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference, WEFTEC 08, promises water quality education, training and access to cutting-edge technologies. With an attendence of over 20,000 leading water and wastewater professionals, the conference promises to be the largest annual water quality exhibition in the world and an "invaluable peer-to-peer networking" opportunity, according to this year’s organizers. This year, the event promises a full itinerary with over 10 scheduled facility tours, 30 workshops and 115 technical sessions, ranging from "Nitrogen Removal" (Tuesday, October 21) to "Water Reuse Case Studies II" (Wednesday, October 22).
